Welcome to the rocket science website.

This website was created as an educational resource for rocketry and space enthusiasts.  The rocket science section contains articles on the physics of rocketry, together with material to explain such issues as radio propagation from rockets and wind dispersal.  Its the areas where I'll continue to post papers on rocketry subjects.

Course notes contains the notes for a short courses that I give on satellite communications.  The courses are aimed at undergraduates or professionals wishing to understand the principles of this facinating subject.

I have a number of ongoing and completed rocketry projects, details of which can be found on this website.  My interest in rocketry includes building and launching model and high power rockets.  Photos of some of my rockets can be found on this site.

I've added some useful links to other rocketry sites, vendors, useful educational sites, and other sites that interest me, together with a bibliography of textbooks that were useful in creating this site.

No website would be complete without a few photos, so I've included some pictures of places, people and rockets.

I hope you enjoy browsing the site.  If so, then please feel free to contact me.  If you find any errors please get in touch so I can correct it.

Phil
